• Private Placements: If you are seeking a private placement, please submit your child’s Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and the most recent Annual Review through our enquiry form.
• Local Authority Placements: Local Authority placements must be initiated through a formal consultation process.

The Provision Evaluation Process:

• Evaluation Days: If we believe Earley Springs can meet your child’s needs, a Provision Evaluation day will be arranged.
• This typically involves four consecutive days on-site:

Day 1:

• Bespoke sessions, including a full school tour.
• Assessment of your child’s individual needs.
• A session in the most suitable class and curriculum pathway.
• If we are unable to meet your child’s needs after Day 1, we will meet with you immediately to discuss the reasons and offer guidance on next steps.
• If Earley Springs may be a suitable placement, your child will be invited back for Days 2, 3, and 4.
• Days 2-4: Your child will experience learning in the class they would be placed in if offered a permanent place.
• Usually by the end of Day 4, the team will have come to a decision regarding your child and their potential provision at Earley Springs. This will then be communicated with parents and Local Authorities. Please note that written feedback will not be provided at the end of the Provision Evaluation placement.

Earley Springs Admissions Criteria:

Students at Earley Springs have a Primary Need of Communication and Interaction on their EHCP’s. 

Most students will have a diagnosis of ASD and present with associating difficulties, but not where these needs present as complex and/or as challenging or defiant behaviour.
